EDWIN
Founded in Tokyo in 1947 to import high-quality denim from America, Edwin was the spark that sparked the Japanese passion for jeans. The founder, Mr. Tsunemi, was a real enthusiast: he chose the name Edwin because it is an anagram of the word "denim", with the inverted M to create a W. After years spent working to match the quality of American jeans trousers , Edwin began producing himself in the 60s, debuting with a sixteen ounce denim, more structured and resistant than the standards of the time.
